## Overview

Teams work through Izmir's old bazaar on a phone app, completing photo tasks, tastings and trading challenges.

Kemeraltı is one of the oldest working bazaars in the Aegean: copper workshops, han courtyards, the Kızlarağası Han and the Hisar Mosque all sit within a ten-minute walk. Teams start at Konak Square with a tablet or their own phones and a route of 25 tasks.

Tasks mix photo challenges (recreate a historic postcard), tastings (find the best boyoz and rate it), and small trades with shopkeepers we have briefed in advance. Points come in live on a scoreboard, and marshals on the route help with directions and translation.

We finish in a han courtyard with Turkish coffee, a slideshow of every team's photos and a short awards moment. The route works in English, Turkish and Arabic.
