## Overview

A guided walk through Muttrah souq, then a hands-on workshop on frankincense, Omani perfumes and incense blending.

The afternoon starts on the Muttrah corniche, where your host introduces the old trading port before leading the group into the souq's covered lanes of silver, textiles, spices and incense.

In a private workshop space, a local perfumer explains how frankincense is harvested and graded, and why it has been traded from southern Oman for centuries. Teams then blend their own bakhoor incense or a simple scented oil and take it home in a small gift box.

The programme closes with Omani coffee and halwa, the traditional sweet, and free time in the souq for shopping.
