A ferry to Büyükada, the largest of the car-free Princes' Islands, for a bike ride past wooden mansions and pine forest, with a picnic by the sea.

The Princes' Islands lie in the Sea of Marmara, about an hour by ferry from Istanbul. Private cars are not allowed, so the islands are quiet, green and ideal for cycling. Your group boards a private boat or a scheduled ferry from the Asian shore and lands at the harbour of Büyükada.

From there, guides lead a ride on the island's loop road, past wooden Ottoman-era mansions, pine woods and viewpoints over the sea. Lunch is a picnic in a pine grove above the water, and there is free time in the harbour before the boat back. Electric bikes are available for anyone who prefers them.
