## Overview

Business and crisis simulations that recreate the pressure of real decisions: incomplete information, competing priorities and a clock that keeps running. A trained facilitator debriefs every round, so the learning is about your team, not about the game.

### The business problem

Teams often decide too slowly when the stakes are high, or too quickly without checking the facts. Escalations pile up, meetings end without a clear owner, and when something goes wrong it is hard to say who decided what. These habits are difficult to change in day-to-day work, because there is never a safe moment to practise.

### How we run it

**Diagnose.** We talk to the sponsor about the decisions that matter in your business and where they tend to get stuck. **Design.** We choose and adapt a simulation (a market launch, a crisis war room, a decision sprint tournament) so that the dilemmas feel familiar to your people. **Run.** Teams play several rounds with roles, information that arrives in pieces and fixed decision deadlines. **Debrief.** After each round the facilitator shows the team what happened: who had which information, when the decision was taken and what the alternatives were. **Follow-up.** The team agrees a simple decision protocol to use at work, and we review how it is being used after 30 days.

### Formats

- **Half day:** a decision sprint tournament or a single crisis scenario with a full debrief.
- **Full day:** a multi-round business simulation with live dashboards, ending with a session on your real decision rules.
- **2–3 day offsite:** the simulation as the centrepiece of a leadership offsite, combined with working sessions on real decisions.

### How we measure impact, honestly

Simulations produce useful evidence on their own: time to decision, how often information was shared, and the quality of the reasoning each team wrote down. We add a short pre and post pulse survey, and a 30-day check on whether the decision protocol is being used in real meetings. We report what we see, including what did not change.

## Questions

### Do participants need any business game experience?

No. The rules are explained in a short briefing and the first round is a practice round. The simulations are designed for mixed groups, from senior leaders to specialists.

### Is it competitive?

Teams usually compete on a scoreboard, because it adds energy. The debrief focuses on how decisions were made, not on who won, and we can switch to a cooperative format if competition would not help your culture.

### Can the simulation use our own business case?

Yes. With two to four weeks' notice we can adapt the scenario, numbers and roles to your market. Sensitive data is not needed; realistic numbers work just as well.

### How many people can take part?

Most simulations work from about 10 to 200 participants in teams of five to eight. Very large groups play in parallel rooms with a shared live scoreboard.
