Once or twice a year, a distributed team meets in one place to do the work that is hard to do on video calls.

For remote teams, the retreat is often the only time people share a table. The program should protect that: fewer slides, more conversations, and enough unstructured time for people to meet colleagues they only know from chat.

Travel is the hardest part. Your team may fly in from ten countries, so we pick destinations with good flight connections, send visa invitation letters where needed and stagger airport transfers around arrival times. Istanbul, Antalya and İzmir are easy to reach from Europe, the Gulf and Central Asia.

Most remote retreats run four to five days, including one travel day at each end.
