## Materials

- Sticky notes and thick markers
- A wall or whiteboard
- Sticky dots (three to five per person) or marker pens
- A timer

## Step by step

1. Write one clear question on the board, for example "What should we stop doing next quarter?"
2. Give everyone five to seven minutes to write ideas silently, one per note.
3. Each person places their notes on the wall and reads them out briefly, without discussion.
4. Together, move similar notes into clusters and give each cluster a short title.
5. Everyone receives three to five dots and votes silently; people may put several dots on one cluster.
6. Discuss the top two or three clusters and agree next steps and owners.

## Facilitator tips

- Keep the writing phase silent; talking too early lets the first ideas anchor the group.
- The vote shows the group's priorities; make it clear in advance who takes the final decision.
