A resort in a sheltered cove south-east of Muscat, where rocky mountains come down to a quiet beach. It is about 40 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from Muttrah, but feels a long way from the city.

The ballroom seats 300 theatre style, the beach lawn hosts gala dinners in the cooler months, and the boardroom has views over the cove. Snorkelling, kayaking and dhow cruises start from the beach.

A good choice for leadership retreats and incentive groups who want privacy, with the old town and souq close enough for an evening visit.
