Why here
Urla is the quiet side of the İzmir coast. Instead of beach clubs it has the Urla vineyard route, olive groves, a small harbour and some of the best restaurants in the region. The pace suits groups that came to think and talk, not to be entertained.
Most properties are small estates and coworking villages with 10 to 30 rooms, a long dinner table and a barn or terrace for sessions. A leadership team can have the whole place to itself, with no other guests in the dining room.
Everything in Urla is within 15 minutes: wineries, the ancient olive oil workshop at Klazomenai, the harbour at Çeşmealtı. Wine tastings always come with alcohol-free alternatives, and grape juice and olive oil tastings work just as well.
