Çeşme peninsula group ride

The ride starts in Alaçatı after a bike fit and a short safety briefing. Riders choose a road bike or an e-bike, and we split the group into a faster and a relaxed pace, each with a lead and a sweep guide. The route follows quiet coastal and village roads through the windmill ridge, Germiyan and down to Ildırı on the bay, about 45 kilometres with an option to cut it to 25.

One stretch of around four kilometres is timed for those who want to race it, with results posted at lunch; everyone else rides it at their own pace. A support van carries water, spare parts and anyone who wants a break.

Lunch is at a fish restaurant in Ildırı, after which riders can return by bike or by van. Spring and autumn are the best months; in summer we start at 7:30 to finish before the heat.
