A resort on the Saiq Plateau of Jebel Akhdar, around 2,000 metres above sea level and about two and a half hours by road from Muscat. Temperatures are noticeably cooler than on the coast, which makes it a good choice for retreats in the shoulder months.
Meeting rooms open onto terraces with canyon views, and walking trails to the terraced villages start close by. Access to the plateau is by a checkpoint-controlled mountain road on which only four-wheel-drive vehicles are allowed; we arrange the vehicles and drivers.
