Teams set out on a marked course through valleys, forest or open countryside. The twist: no one has the full map. Each team member carries a different piece of information (part of the map, clues to checkpoint values, weather updates or hazard warnings) and the team must combine them to choose its route.

At every checkpoint new information arrives by radio or sealed envelope: a closed path, a high-value bonus checkpoint, a teammate who must be "evacuated". Teams have to decide quickly whether to change plans, split up or stick to the route, and every decision costs or saves time.

Experienced outdoor instructors set and supervise the course, and the facilitator runs a debrief at the finish using each team's route log: what did you know, when did you decide, and what would you do differently?
