Remote murder-mystery game

The story is set in a 1920s Istanbul mansion on the night of a dinner party. Two professional actors play the host and the suspects live on camera, switching characters with costume changes, while a game master runs the platform.

Teams of five to six work in breakout rooms with a shared online case file: floor plans, letters, photos and a timeline that updates as the game goes on. They call suspects into their room for interrogation, compare notes and decide which leads to follow. Every 20 minutes the actors stage a new scene in the main room that changes the picture.

In the final round each team presents its accusation and reasoning in two minutes, and the actors play out the reveal. Teams have to listen closely, combine fragments of information and agree on one answer, which is exactly what makes it a good exercise for distributed teams.
