Zipline and adventure park day in Kartepe

An hour and a half from Istanbul, the forest above Sapanca and Kartepe has several well-run adventure parks. We book a park for your group in the morning, when it is quiet, and split everyone into colour-coded teams.

After a safety briefing and a practice run on a low course, teams move through tree-top circuits of increasing height: wobbling bridges, cargo nets, Tarzan swings and finally the long zipline over the valley. Participants are on a continuous belay system that cannot be unclipped mid-course, and park staff watch every platform.

We close with a ground-level team challenge, such as moving the whole team across a rope web without touching it, followed by a barbecue lunch in the forest. Those who do not want to go high can take the lower courses or help with the scoring.
