Kadıköy food and clue hunt

Teams cross from the European side by ferry and start at the Kadıköy pier with a game app and a budget in play money. The route runs through the fish market, Güneşlibahçe Street, the Moda backstreets and the area around the Süreyya Opera House, about three kilometres in total.

Each clue leads to a shop we work with: a pickle maker, a cheese and olive shop, a simit bakery, a lokum maker, a coffee roaster. At each stop, teams have to answer a question or complete a small task before they get their tasting, and points are added for speed, photos and the play money they have left at the end.

Guides walk the route with the teams for directions and translation. We finish on a terrace in Moda with tea and a scoreboard reveal. The same route is available in English, Turkish and Arabic.
